In 2025, the Malvern Historical Society purchased the historic Poort’s Garage, which will become a museum, event space, community hub, and a center for preserving and digitizing artifacts. At the same time, we are building a virtual museum—making Malvern’s history accessible to anyone, anywhere.Together, these efforts create a museum for the future—preserving our stories both physically and digitally for generations to come.

While the physical museum is being developed, we are building a Virtual Museum—an interactive experience featuring historic photos, stories, and locations across Malvern.
This growing digital archive allows anyone to explore the town’s history, discover lost places, and connect with the people and stories that shaped the community.
Preserving What Matters Before It’s Lost Many of Malvern’s stories exist only in old photos, memories, and personal collections. Without action, these pieces of history risk being lost forever.
The Malvern Museum—both physical and digital—ensures that future generations can learn from and connect with the people, places, and events that shaped this community.
